  • Mirror shine

Over time car paint loses its shine — micro-scratches, holograms and dull patches appear. TAMIS Autocentrs performs professional car polishing in Riga, restoring the body to a mirror finish, and after polishing we recommend applying a ceramic coating that preserves the result for years.

What is included

  • Washing and degreasing the body before polishing
  • Multi-stage abrasive polishing — removing scratches and holograms
  • Finish polishing to a deep gloss
  • Ceramic coating application and curing

What ceramic coating gives you

A ceramic coating creates a hard protective layer that repels water and dirt and protects the paint from UV, chemicals and light scratches. The car stays clean longer and washing becomes easier.

The price depends on the car size and paint condition — we will prepare an exact quote after inspection. Call +371 20 033 111.

Exterior detailing: polishing and long-term protection

Before work starts, we assess the paint and choose a suitable level of correction. Ceramic coating is applied to a prepared surface so it bonds correctly and maintains its protective properties.

Polishing and ceramic coating questions

Does polishing remove every scratch?

Polishing reduces or removes defects in the clear coat, but deep scratches through to the paint cannot always be removed safely. We assess them before work starts.

How is ceramic coating different from wax?

Wax usually offers shorter protection, while a correctly applied ceramic coating creates a more durable hydrophobic layer.

Can ceramic coating be applied without polishing?

Sometimes, but coating does not hide existing defects. For an even result the surface is washed, decontaminated and polished where needed first.

How often should a car be polished?

Polishing is condition-based, not calendar-based. It is useful when paint becomes dull or develops holograms and micro-scratches; washing and use affect the interval.
