Order data and privacy

The seller identified above is the controller for shop order data. We use your name, email, phone number, order items and correspondence; a delivery address is requested when the selected method needs it. For a company invoice we also use the company and billing details you provide. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive information.

The information is used to prepare and fulfil your requested order, confirm the offer, contact you, issue documents and meet accounting obligations. Necessary order processing is based on taking contractual steps and performing the contract; statutory record keeping is based on legal obligations. Security logs help protect the site.

Access is limited by staff roles. Hosting, email and accounting service providers may process information needed for these tasks. If a delivery service is agreed, only the information necessary to deliver is shared. A Latakko catalogue download does not itself transmit the checkout form to the supplier.

We keep order and correspondence records for as long as needed to handle the order and related claims, and retain accounting documents for the applicable statutory period. We do not promise immediate deletion of records we must legally retain.

Contact us to request access, correction, erasure where applicable, restriction or portability, or to object where the law provides that right. We may need to verify your identity. You may complain to Latvia’s Data State Inspectorate (DVI).

Session and security cookies are needed for the cart and checkout. Optional analytics follow the separate cookie choice described on our data-and-cookies page. Placing an order does not subscribe you to advertising mail. Do not share your private order link publicly: it gives access to that order.
