Withdrawal, returns and complaints

A consumer buying goods at a distance can notify us of withdrawal without giving a reason within 14 days after receipt. The period starts on the following calendar day; where one order arrives separately, it runs from receipt of its last item.

Send a clear notice to the seller using the postal or email details above. You may use the template below, but a clear free-form notice is also accepted. Keep evidence that you sent it in time. The fact that a standard catalogue tyre was ordered from a supplier does not itself remove this right.

Send or hand back the goods within 14 days after your withdrawal notice. Contact us to arrange handover at the collection point; a prior call helps organise it but is not a condition for sending a valid notice. You bear direct return transport costs for a change-of-mind return; handing goods back at TAMIS has no return handling fee.

We refund the payment, including the standard original delivery charge if paid, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until the goods or proof of dispatch are received. Any extra cost of a more expensive delivery option you chose is not refunded. Refund is by the original payment method unless otherwise agreed without a fee to you.

Check size, specification and condition before fitting. You may inspect goods as you could in a shop. Handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics may result in liability for diminished value; fitting or road use is not described here as an automatic blanket exclusion of withdrawal rights.

Report a wrong item, transport damage or a suspected defect as soon as you discover it, including the order number and, where helpful, photos. A conformity claim is not the same as a change-of-mind return, and your statutory rights are not limited to the 14-day withdrawal period.

If a complaint cannot be resolved with TAMIS, you may contact Latvia’s Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC). Mandatory rights prevail over these terms.
