How to organise fleet tire changes in your company car park
To avoid vehicles waiting without a reason, start with a list and a sequence. A practical preparation guide for businesses.
Mobile tire service can save individual trips to a workshop. But if nobody can find tires or keys on the day, that time is lost in the car park instead. Preparation makes the difference.
Prepare one vehicle list
For each vehicle, list the model, registration, tire size and whether the other set is already on rims. Flag vans, Run Flat tires and known damage. Registration helps avoid mixing up sets; tire specifications must still be checked separately.
Agree the working area
The team needs access and a suitable space for safe work. Send the address, entry arrangements and photographs of the area before the visit. A traffic lane or a space surrounded by constantly moving vehicles cannot simply be treated as a clear working zone.
Choose a contact person and vehicle order
The contact needs to know where the keys, tires and locking bolt adapters are. Sequence the vehicles around drivers' journeys. Do not assume every vehicle will take the same time: different wheels require different operations.
Decide who can approve extra work
If a valve is damaged or a tire is unsuitable, someone must be available to decide what happens next. Prepare company billing details and agree the paperwork and payment arrangements.
For a scheduled TAMIS visit in Riga and nearby areas, send the fleet list and preferred dates. We use that information to agree the work, cost and schedule.
